Hermann Lacroix est né en 1981 à Verdun, en Lorraine. Il s'installe au Canada en 1992. Il s'intéresse très tôt à la poésie, à la musique et aux grands philosophes. Les peintres abstraits d'après-guerre, tels que Robert Motherwell, Toko Shinoda, Hans Hartung et Pierre Soulages, ont fortement impressionné Lacroix et l'ont incité à poursuivre une vocation en peinture.
En 2015, Hermann a remporté la médaille de bronze à la 41e exposition internationale tenue au Beffroi à Bruges, en Belgique. En 2016, il a remporté la médaille d'or au 32e concours international de gala des arts visuels, du son et de la lumière. L'année suivante, il remporte le Grand Prix. Il a également remporté la médaille d’or 2017 à la 45e exposition internationale du CAPSQ, tenue à Villers-Cotterêts, en France. Les peintures d’Hermann Lacroix figurent dans de nombreuses collections privées au Canada et Hong Kong.
Hermann Lacroix was born in 1981 in Verdun, in the Lorraine region of France. He moved to Canada in 1992. Lacroix developed an early interest in poetry, music, and the great philosophers. Abstract painters from Post-war American art era, such as Robert Motherwell, Toko Shinoda, Hans Hartung, and Pierre Soulages, had a strong impression on Lacroix and inspired him to pursue a vocation in painting.
In 2015, he won the bronze medal at the 41st International Exhibition held at the Beffroi in Bruges, Belgium. In 2016, Lacroix won the gold medal at the 32nd International Gala Competition for Visual Arts, Sound, and Light. The following year he was awarded the Grand Prix. Lacroix is also the 2017 recipient of the gold medal at the CAPSQ’s 45th International Exhibition held in Villers-Cotterêts, France. Hermann Lacroix’s paintings appear in numerous private collections in Canada and Hong Kong.
