Avec l’exposition Bleu, couleur du ciel et de la mer, de l’apaisement, Robert Lamarche présente un nouveau chapitre de l’oeuvre qu’il construit depuis près de 30 ans. La peinture demeure abstraite, instinctive. Elle évoque, dans une langue aux accents multiples, des lieux imaginaires où l’on peut se reconnaître si on se prête au jeu. Elle fait naître des émotions qui nous transportent ailleurs, hors du temps présent et de ses contraintes. Bleu, c’est un souffle de vie, un cri silencieux.
With the exhibition Blue: The Color of the Sky and the Sea, of Serenity, Robert Lamarche presents a new chapter in the body of work he has been developing for nearly 30 years. The painting remains abstract and instinctive. In a language rich with nuances, it evokes imaginary places where we can recognize ourselves if we let ourselves be drawn in. It stirs emotions that transport us elsewhere, beyond the present moment and its constraints. Blue is a breath of life, a silent cry.
